Die Mii-Charaktere in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe sind weniger ausdrucksvoll

Je mehr Spieler nun nach und nach damit beginnen Mario Kart 8 Deluxe für sich selbst zu entdecken, desto mehr Veränderungen minimaler Natur, zu Mario Kart 8 dringen ans Tageslicht.

Eine dieser Änderungen betrifft die Mii-Charaktere. Sie scheinen nicht mehr so ausdrucksvoll zu sein, wie sie es ursprünglich noch auf der Wii U waren. Wie so oft, gibt es erste Hinweise bereits auf Reddit dazu und natürlich entsprechende Bilder, welche starke Unterschiede zwischen der Wii U- und Nintendo Switch-Version aufweisen.

Damals zeigten die Mii-Charaktere noch verschiedene Gesichter und brachten ihre Freude und Aufregung zum Vorschein. In der Deluxe-Variante hingegen bleiben sie völlig ausdruckslos und verziehen selbst bei den besten Fahrmanövern oder Sprüngen keine Miene mehr.

Unser LEGO City Undercover Gameplay-Video + Ladezeitenvergleich zu Wii U

Offiziell erscheint LEGO City Undercover erst nächste Woche, am 6. April 2017, für die Nintendo Switch. Wir hatten allerdings bereits gestern die Möglichkeit an eine Retail-Version zu gelangen und haben daher für euch ein knapp 30-minütiges Video aufgezeichnet, welches ihr euch hier ansehen könnt:

Was unter den YouTube-Kommentarschreibern direkt bemängelt wurde war die, im Gegensatz zur Wii U-Version, kaum verbesserte Ladezeit. Unsere Kollegen vom Nintendo World Report haben daher einmal einen Vergleich gewagt welcher ziemlich ernüchternd ist.

So lädt die Nintendo Switch-Version von LEGO City Undercover zu Spielbeginn zwar 14 Sekunden schneller, ihr müsst aber dennoch ganze 51:07 Sekunden warten bis das Abenteuer endlich losgeht. Ob ein Release-Patch da noch viel rausreißen kann ist ungewiss. Aber seht am Besten selbst:

Glitch lässt Link in Breath of the Wild tief ins Wasser eintauchen

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild ist in vieler Hinsicht ein wenig anders als seine Vorgänger. Link hat beispielsweise die Fähigkeit verloren sich auf dem Boden abzurollen oder zu tauchen, klettert dafür aber, als hätte er dies sein Leben lang bereits so getan.

Glücklicherweise gibt es Spieler wie @Swiffy22, die Wege herausfinden, wie man doch noch im Spiel tauchen gehen kann – zumindest so in etwa. Wenn man offenbar von einer stärkeren Attacke oder Bombe getroffen wird und dabei im Wasser landet, dann kann es wohl passieren, dass man unter die Wasseroberfläche gedrückt wird und sich am Grund des Sees wieder findet. Das sieht dann so aus:

Die Entwicklung von The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild im Video

Nintendo hat eine dreiteilige Video-Serie veröffentlicht, durch die ihr mehr über die Entwicklung von The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild erfahren könnt. Nachfolgend haben wir euch alle Videos eingebettet.

Teil 1 – Der Anfang

Wo beginnt man, wenn man einen neuen Titel der „The Legend of Zelda“-Serie entwickelt? Die Entwickler beleuchten den Prozess und zeigen einige frühe Spielkonzepte, die letztendlich doch nicht verwendet wurden. Das solltest du dir nicht entgehen lassen!

Teil 2 – Die offene Welt

Was hat es mit der „offenen Welt“ des Spiels auf sich? Finde heraus, wie verschiedene Elemente wie das Erkunden, die Größe, die Kämpfe, die Musik und sogar ein in der Nase bohrender Bokblin halfen, das neue Konzept zu vervollständigen.

Teil 3 – Geschichte & Charaktere (Vorsicht, Spoiler!)

Wie erzählt man eine epische Geschichte in einer riesigen, offenen Welt? Das Entwicklerteam spricht über die Herangehensweise beim Erzählen der Geschichte und über das neuerfinden von Charakteren wie Link, Zelda und sogar der Bokblins!

Speedrunner beendete Breath of the Wild in weniger als einer Stunde

Der YouTuber gymnast86 veröffentlichte das nachfolgende Video zu The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild und verdeutlicht uns eindrucksvoll wie schnell man bis zum tatsächlichen Spielende gelangen kann.

Er bezeichnet es als seinen “ersten anständigen Lauf”, gibt aber auch zu, dass es noch “viel besser optimiert werden” kann. Gespielt wurde auf einer amerikanischen (NTSC) Wii U, mit einer digitalen Version des Spiels und ohne die Verwendung von amiibo.

Ihr werdet zwar nicht großartig bezüglich der Story gespoilert, bekommt aber den letzten Endboss – und den Weg bis zu diesem – zu sehen. Sofern ihr also noch nicht durchgespielt habt, bleibt lieber fern und schaut es euch gegebenenfalls später an.
